June 19

Lightning cracks, I jump,
Temperature drops, I shiver,
Summer storms are the best.

The cool morning breeze
soon leaves us gasping for breath,
hoping for a cloud.

June 17 – Father’s Day

Father’s or Fathers’ Day
I’m not a father, so does it matter?
Let’s move on now.

Just kidding folks.  It is a great day to celebrate all of the fathers in our lives.

Miss you Dad – Charles Richard Hudgins.  I remember you quiet ways and a red heart box filled with M&M you gave me for Valentines day when I was 6.

Miss you Tom! – Tom Hollearin.  Tom took on the heavy load of raising 3 kids, 2 months after marrying my mom when she died.  Thank you! Thank you!

Slides through the windows, warming

our blood and our hearts..❤️❤️

Listening to the sound track from Cats.  Love the music.  The original book is just as great – Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot.

Here is a good place to start if you haven’t read any of T.S. Eliot’s poems. https://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes/372536-old-possum-s-book-of-practical-cats
