Driving out of town,

Frozen fields covered with snow,

Waiting for spring plows

Fields are drenched in ice,

The snow moon waxing gibbous

Peaks through winter clouds.

Winter Nights

A chill wind blows here,

We huddle inside waiting,

Will there be more snow?

Winter Ice

The path looks clear,

No ice can be seen, dogs are free.

First ambulance ride.

A friend fell walking her dogs last week. She has a major break to her leg (upper thigh). Send healing thoughts and prayer into the ether for her.

Winter Comes

It begins with ice

Falling from the sky – turning

Swiftly to snow flakes.
