in my yard tonight,
can you stop and play?
I’m taking some time off from blogging to refresh the brain cells and work on some projects that have been lieing dormant for a long while.
Thanks for following my blog. See ya’all soon!
Every morning the sun rises a bit earlier and sets a little later. I look at the mess that is my yard and gardens and I want to grab a rake or a shovel or anything to be outside making it prettier. Unfortunately – or fortunately some things just take time and patience. The bulbs I planted last fall are still resting, hopefully as restless as I am. The birds are beginning to trickle back to the feeders (the European Starlings (Sturnus vulgaris) and English House Sparrows (Passer domesticus) have been here all winter.)
So for now, I will dream of multi-colored tulips, sunshine yellow daffodils and work on my weaving.
Walking in the woods,
I wonder which way to go,
but I am not lost.
We look for patterns
in behaviors – good or bad.
Some are just pretty.
Are you going to the parade?
February is going to March!
(Saw this joke on Facebook and couldn’t resist!)
White orchids bring smiles.
