Another Rainy Day

The heavy grey sky

Laden with rain falls on us

Bringing fertile spring fields.

Spring Snow

Light dusting of white

Covers the ground before us.

Daffodils still smile.

Busy . . . Not

Times, they have changed

Self distancing, no hugging,

Will we survive this?

I should not be complaining, I am healthy (and have an adequate supply of toilet paper). However, I am missing my friends. Missing yoga classes, karate classes, coffee shops. Tonight, melancholy has hit me hard. I sit and wait for the sun to rise and feelings to lift. It will be better tomorrow.
