Large Rocks

The Rock at LACMA © 2012 T N Martin

Only in LA can they put a large rock on display at a museum.  It weighs 340 tons and cost lots of money to move it to LA.  I’m not an art critic, but the money (approximately $10 million from private donors) could have been better spent on probably anything else.  I’ve seen prettier rocks in my back yard.
